Born in Chiba, Japan in 1973. Inspired by the worlds of yokai and mythical creatures, Ayako works as an artist and childrens’ book author/illustrator. She has held multiple exhibitions both in Japan and abroad, and spends her spare time looking after her children, her cats and her reptiles.
